SMS digitalisation

The digitalisation of our tools plays a crucial role in improving our performance and respecting our environment (0 paper policy). Since the beginning of 2023, we have launched a campaign to digitise our SMS, which involves equipping all our ships with digital tablets so that our sailors can complete their operational checklists more intuitively and efficiently. To date, 85% of our fleet has been equipped, and the process is ongoing. This approach means that data can be collected and analysed in real time, saving considerable time in terms of administrative management while minimising our environmental footprint.

After several years of voluntary ISM certification by Bureau Veritas, Jifmar Offshore Service now has a Headquarters Certification (DOC*) and a Ship Certification (SMC**) issued by the French Maritime Affairs for the management of its first vessel of more than 500 UMS flying the French flag: Canopée.
